More than a third of the 90 million people in the Philippines live in poverty, 80% of them in rural areas without access to sanitation facilities, proper nutrition, or quality education.

 

HRM Children’s Foundation believes the best hope to end the vicious cycle of poverty, illness, and illiteracy in  rural Philippines rests with the children.  HRMCF provides children living in rural areas of the province of Cebu with food, running water, shelter, and  most importantly  an education.  By equipping the children in the remote villages of Cebu with the simple essentials we so often take for granted we can make it possible for these children to live healthy, happy lives - to create a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
