Meet the Children
HRMCF's children share a common bond - they all experience extreme poverty. They live in shacks made of corrugated boxes and burlaps, with no electricity and running water. They experience the same hunger pain when there's no food to eat.

Illiterate and unable to find decent jobs, their parents mostly do menial jobs such as hand washing and ironing clothes for a neighbor, with a mere income of P150 pesos a day, which is equivalent to $3.50 dollars. Some mothers work as housemaids and get paid P80 pesos a day, ($1.75). Another parent makes charcoal for a living and sell it for P85 pesos per sack, ($2.00 just enough to buy a kilo of rice and some dried fish for one meal. To generate more income for the family, some parents make the older children work and not send them to school.

With HRMCF's support, it is almost certain that the children with not follow in the footsteps of their parents, therefore making their future much better and brighter.
